The Lord has been making connections that have opened up internship opportunities for each of us on the team. Tomorrow begins the internship phase of our time in Cambodia. It will be neat to see how the Lord moves, teaches, and grows us over the next months. But more importantly, it will be unbelievable to see the ways in which the Lord reveals Himself and His glory through our placements.
I will continue teaching and working at the children’s home I have been at for the past few months. The home is for at-risk children, providing them with a safe home and food, an education, and training in the arts including painting, drawing, traditional dancing, and music writing. The Lord is doing amazing work through and in the lives of each of the students!
Following are a few specific prayer points for the home:
- Pray that the home would be protected by an angel army day and night.
- Pray for the physical health of all of the students, teachers, and staff.
- Pray that the students would encounter Christ in a personal way through scripture, prayer, interactions with each other and the staff, and the art forms they are studying.
- Pray that those who watch their performances would also have an encounter with Christ.
- Pray that the students and staff continue to see Christ in one another and thus continue to overflow with love, grace, and joy.
- Pray that all the learning, practicing, studying, and serving that occurs inside and outside the walls of the home are glorifying to the Lord.
