Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. (Romans 8:26 ESV)
I would like to share a few prayer requests that may guide you in praying for me, my team, and the people we are about to meet in a few days!
Even though God knows what we need before we pray, my hope is that this blog will help you be able to pray specifically and confidently for us. God will do with your prayers as He sees best. Everyday I become more of a firm believer in prayer. I hope that through your time with the Lord you discover more about His heart and His children (including yourself). I may be the one physically going to Cambodia, but the Lord has a plan for you all in it too…awareness, education, passion, prayer, relationship…
Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. (Philippians 4:17 ESV)
You may pray…
For boldness in living out and speaking the Gospel
For team unity…unity in mind and spirit. Also, unity between our team and the team that is already in Cambodia
For safe travels to Cambodia and while we are there!
For the softening of the hearts of the men, women, and children of Cambodian to recieve the Gospel
For our ability to always be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit…that we would follow it in boldness in all situations
For release of the captives held in sex slavery, poverty, lack of opportunities, education…
For God to richly supply all our individual and ministry financial needs
For protection against all the darts of the enemy…darts of confusion, frustration, jealousy, disunity…
For more workers to be sent out to Cambodia to reap the harvest
For love and grace to cover a multitude of sins
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing! (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 ESV)
